A 100-meter hill with a 35-degree decline, the most climactic part of the Onbashira Festival

This is the site where the climactic event of the Onbashira Festival is held. Nearly 100 meters in length and dropping at a precipitously steep 35 degrees, brave locals sit atop massive, 10-ton logs and ride them down this very hill all at once. Straddling the model log at the top of the hill will make you feel just like you’re participating in the festival.
