“Omotenashi,” or Japanese hospitality, can be felt through the wonderful course meals cooked here with seasonal ingredients.
In particular, one of Nagano’s famous dishes, basashi (raw horse meat), is made with great care. The delicious meat seems to almost melt in your mouth.
The gentle waters of Wata no Yu flow directly into the hot springs and the outdoor bath that can be reserved for private use here, allowing guests to relax in waters of the highest quality.
